Britney Spears Workshops - JP San Pedro and Tiana Brown

Last year, ACPA hosted the official Adelaide Britney Spears dance workshops with Tiana Brown and JP San Pedro - of whom are professional teachers and dancers in Los Angeles. Tiana started our workshops off with a Jazz Funk class to Britney Spears' song 'Kill the Lights' and then a fantastic hip hop workshop with JP. It was such a great day at ACPA and there was a great amount of people at the workshop. Thanks Guys....

 

Nick Phillips 

Nick is a highly sought after dancer and teacher 
around Melbourne. Nick teaches regular classes at 
studios such as; 'Patrick Studios Australia', Melbournes
home of hip hop 'Unitd Styles' and has taught at The Space,
MDX, Melbourne Music Academy and Dance Unitd. He is a member of the National 2007/2008 Hip Hop Championship winning crew; Beatphonik. Through Beatphonik, he has had the opportunity to teach numerous workshops and perform at a number of corporate events. In 2008 and 2009, Nick travelled to Las Vegas to compete in the World Hip Hop Championships. Whilst abroad he trained in LA
at Debbie Reynolds and San Diegos Studio 429 where he worked with Choreo Cookies (US National Championship Crew).  It was a great workshop for all our the students who came. 

 

Etienne Khoo

Etienne has enjoyed a diverse career working in all facets of the entertainment industry such as Federation Bicentennial Celebration Australian Government Canberra, Coca Cola (TV Commercial), Herald Sun Fashion Week, New Balance Dance Show & the Disney Mouse Car Awards (Lion King Segment) to name a few.

Etienne is also artistic director of a new age Hip Hop company "Dance Virus Productions"( D.V.P), who have been the Australian National Hip Hop Champions year after year

Phillip Haddad

Originally from neighbouring New Zealand, Phillip landed in Melbourne in 1991 ready to hit the entertainment industry. Since then, he has worked his way into performing in various shows, events, fashion parades & corporate functions.  Recently, he moved into choreographing major shows and corporate events such as “Countdown the Arena Spectacular”. He has performed in many video clips, Aria awards, National & International tours, TV variety shows & televised charity events for various recording artists, such as CDB, Marcia Hines, Deni Hines, Peter Andre and Mercury 4. Phill has supported international artists such as Destinys Child, Boys 2 Men, K Ci & Jo Jo, JaRule, Ashanti, N Trance, Steps & Ru Paul to name a few.  Musical credits include Shout, Oh What A Night, High Society, Annie Get You Gun & Grease the Arena Spectacular.

Errol CenitaErrol Cenita

Errol is a well known choreographer and dancer in Brisbane, Australia. He is currently the manager of Fresh Elements dance studio who focuses primarily on Hip Hop dance and has coached various teams to be National Hip Hop Champions.

This is why we brought him down, to give our students the opportunity to work with a different style of hip hop, considering how diverse the culture truly is. Errol taught popping, locking and break dance to our students as well as a combination of hip hop/funk.

 

 

Graeme Issako

Graeme Issako had only just completed his full time performing arts course before auditioning for So You Think You Can Dance Australia. Becoming one of the top twenty and remaining in the show beyond the top ten, Graeme’s dance career began. Many critics describe him as “Pure. Honest. A dancer.”

His incredibly positive character comes through in his dance whether it be contemporary, jazz, funk, themed, hip hop or lyrical.

Michael Schwandt

Michael Schwandt is one of LA 's top Choreographers.  He has been working with stars such as Britney Spears, Jennifer Lopez, Flo Rida, Kelly Rowland, David Guetta, the Veronica’s and Lady Gaga. Michael is not only a dancer and choreographer; he is also passionate about creating concepts for world tours for artists such as the Pink and Britney Spears.  Having previously appeared on So You Think You Can Dance America, Michael was invited to join the Australian show and chor eograph a contemporary routine for some of the finalists. Michael can be seen in many video clips such as Circus by Britney Spears.
