UNICORN PARTY

Friday 17th April 9:30–11:00am, Ages 3–6 years, Thebarton Studio, $35

This is the perfect blend of creativity, movement, imagination and confidence building – all wrapped up in a pastel, princess-castle kind of dream. Spots are limited, so gather your sparkle and book before the magic disappears.

BEATZ & BRO’S

Wednesday 15th April 10:00am–1:00pm, Ages 6–10 years, Thebarton Studio, $50

Beatz & Bros is our high-energy, all-boys school holiday workshop designed for kids who love to move, make noise, and bring big personality into the room. This workshop builds rhythm, coordination, confidence and teamwork – all while having an absolute blast.

MUSICAL THEATRE CAMP

Tuesday 14th – Friday 17th April, Ages 8–12, Thebarton Studio

This is not just a workshop. This is a real industry experience. Our April Musical Theatre Camp is a four-day intensive designed for young performers who are ready to step into the spotlight and experience what it truly feels like to create for stage and screen.

Our son has been part of the ACPA family for almost 10 years. He started dancing recreationally after school and developed a passion which has now led him to joining the ACPA Academy programme to pursue a future within the industry. The development and growth the school has provided him has been exceptional and the professional support and direction from teachers has allowed him to become an all-round performer. Aswell as developing his professional skills, he has also created long lasting friendships within the dance community. I can highly recommend ACPA.

Something for everyone, general classes or take it to the next level with high level competition options. I have four children who have danced here for 10 years with a variety of jazz , hip hop , lyrical, musical theatre and tap. Supportive environment , emphasis on teamwork , support individual goals of each child ,incredibly professional standard of performance ! Friends who come and see the end of year show come every year as they say it is festival theatre quality and a show worth paying to see and these are people who have some or no background in dance.

Biggest thing was how well they manage boys who dance. All boys classes are fun, energy filled and perfect for the little ones to burn off energy, memorise and order moves ( which helped my children academically and with some early junior primary learning issues). One boy now aged 14, loves the musical theatre side , tap and hip hop and has increased his completion level dancing this year , whilst my other 13 year old boy is super sporty playing high level club soccer , cricket , whilst competing in the hip hop crew ( an element of training that he says increases his foot skills in soccer , balance and agility)! For my boys, it’s the music all the young teen boys like (hip hop ) with the bonus of being able to dance to it!

Wonderful to see girls and boys then dancing in classes together showing a healthy respect and equality for each other , unlike many sports which separate boys and girls early. The amount of boys here is what makes this place incredible as compared to other schools which may only have 1 or 2 boys. They understand boys here and champion the sport of dance for them.

My daughter aged 11, has the opportunity to do jazz and ballet exams and has incredible role model teachers who champion both academic success as well as performance success at what ever level they aim for.

Finally, my 7 year old started hip hop at age 5 I’m interested to see where he takes it and how he uses dance in the sports and activities he chooses as he gets older!

Highly recommend this dance school!

My daughter’s dancing has gone to the next level since joining ACPA. Her technique, strength and confidence have improved so much, but most importantly, her love of dance has never been stronger. ACPA has taught her how to truly shine and own her presence on stage. The end-of-year concerts are absolutely incredible, so professional and inspiring, and something I look forward to attending every year. She has also had the amazing opportunity to become a teacher’s assistant with ACPA, which has further built her confidence, responsibility and love for dance.

ACPA is more than just a dance school. It’s a place where my daughter has attended for over 11 years and feels like a second home. It’s been a one stop shop for all genres. Competing in hip hop, tap, lyrical, jazz and musical theater. I would highly recommend to anyone who is serious about a career in the dance industry as we prepare our daughter to attend the ACPA dance academy next year!

ACPA is a welcoming place with many extremely talented teachers. 🫶 Not only do they bring out the excellence in all their students, they create a warm collaborative space where everyone is able to push themselves to the limit. 🥰

I have been going here for seven years and I have learnt so much and improved every single year. 🕺 It doesn’t matter if you are in regular classes or troupe classes, you will become a hard worker, learn new things and push yourself to the limit.😊

ACPA has been such a special part of our lives. My daughter has attended since she was 2, and now at 10, we couldn’t imagine being anywhere else.
It’s helped build her confidence and given her close friendships. The staff are incredibly supportive, the end-of-year concerts are the best in the industry, and competitions are always a fun experience.

Wonderful and professionally run dance school. We have been coming for 3 years so far and look forward to many more.

We also recently held our daughters 3rd birthday at the school ‘dance star party’. All the children loved it and everything was taken care of and very easy. Oldest child there was 6 and still enjoyed it.

Highly recommend this amazing dance school!

Fantastic dance school, not only in terms of what the students learn like steps but they also grow in confidence. This is a place of "joy" the vibe is wonderful, teachers professional and patient but not "pushy". They have time for every student and are each treated as valued individuals with skills that can be nurtured.

Our daughter (15 years old) commenced classes with ACPA Studio last year and has loved learning and growing across multiple dance genres and with a variety of outstanding teachers. The concerts are of a high standard (not too long - ideal as a parent!) and she is thriving on extending herself in a welcoming environment.

ACPA has been a massive part of my life for the past 5 years. After doing many years of full time training and also after hours classes, i can safely say that this school has had such an incredible impact on my life. It is so much more than a dance school, it is a home for me.

All of the teachers are so passionate about what they do, and they’re all extremely talented. They have taught me so many useful things, dance related but also have helped me mature, and grow into the person i am today. They have all been such outstanding role models in my life. 100% recommend this school to anyone who is wanting to take dance seriously, but also it’s amazing for those who just want to have fun :)))

My daughter has been a part of the ACPA family for the last 10 years. She has learnt all aspects of dance, musical theatre and singing at a high level. She has also been apart of the Dance Academy and is now studying full time dance in readiness for her to go to the next level in her life/career. We have been very happy with her training and she has made some fabulous friends and had so many wonderful experiences and memories to treasure of her time at ACPA. I can highly recommend ACPA
