THE AUSTRALIAN COMPANY OF PERFORMING ARTS does not just offer general classes, we offer the opportunity to advance your training further with our performance and competition teams.

Annually our school participates in local and national competitions including, Get The Beat, South Australian Stage Dancing Society Eisteddfods and Evolution Dance Competition.

For junior students to further develop their performance skillset
CLASSES TIMETABLE

At ACPA, our Jazz Troupes are designed to further develop the performance skillset of each individual student involved, to then come together and deliver a high quality, in sync routine.

We focus on the development of Jazz technique whilst also working on strength, conditioning and flexibility. Students who join our troupes are asked to also participate in Ballet classes, as we believe this is an imperative component of their growth.

Jazz Troupes compete at state competitions including, Get the Beat, SASDS, and Evolution Dance Competition.

We have the following troupe age groups:
6 and Under
8 and Under
10 and Under
12 and Under
15 and Under
Open Age

We offer the opportunity to advance your training with our performance and competition teams

Advance your training with our highly reputable Performance Teams.

Running for over 25 years, these teams have successfully trained some of Australia’s best performers.
What we love most is that the students are extended beyond their dance technique. They cover training in learning to become an MC, develop their onstage performance quality, build stageskills, work through mock auditions, train in Film/TV and so much more.

Performance Teams compete in both Jazz and Music Theatre, while in the second semester they develop a Musical to perform at our End of Year Production. Taught by some of the most experienced staff in South Australia, these teams add a huge value to each individual performances asset list.

Hip Hop Crews - Various Ages

Hip Hop Crews - Various Ages

Our Hip Hop crews focus on Hip Hop foundations in preparation for performances around Australia
CLASSES TIMETABLE

With over 15 years experience in Hip Hop Competitions and several State, National and International Hip Hop Dance titles, ACPA is the right place if you want to extend your training.

With 6 crews who train weekly in a variety of age categories, our teams are coached under an intensive yet highly specialised program. We focus on implementing Hip Hop Foundations whilst bringing out the confident performer in each student.

Current Crew Age Categories:
10 and Under: Lil Dynamites
12 and Under: Elementz
15 and Under: Project Swag + District 37
Open Age: Republic + Offline

Students who join our Hip Hop Crews are asked to also participate in Jazz training 1x a week to ensure they are further extending their dance skillset and therefore bringing a stronger force to crews.
